This is the last installment in our FOODEX 2025 series.

Perhaps the naming of this beer was inspired by those military brews of Finland, Togo and Yamamoto beers. This one is named after one of Japan’s great unifiers, Tokugawa Ieyasu (1543-1616). Personally, we are rather partial to devolution, but we acknowledge that without this guy we would not have those shogun shows, which promise to be remade ad infinitum.
Ieyasu B is made by Hyappa Brews, whose CEO and Brewmaster (Craig Morrey) has created a tawny, slightly cloudy brew with crisp, refreshing hops on the palate and an equally pleasant bitterness. There is sweetness on the nose, and the ABV is 5%
