We wrote about this brewery last year when we encountered them at JFEX. This year we ran into them again, the brewmaster to be precise, and had the opportunity to taste their Sake Premium Beer. This Nagano-based establishment puts out some pretty imaginative brews. Sensory Evaluation: This straw-colored beverage has sake on the nose and sake on the palate. It is pleasantly sweet with some complexity and a long finish. The ABV is between 5 and 6%. Hops have been used in its production, but their presence is not noticeable. Yamada Nishiki rice and sake yeasts were used to bring this enjoyable beverage to life.
